DSB Øresund

DSB Øresund operates train services on the tendered Coast Line and half of the train service between Copenhagen Central Station and Malmö via the Øresund Bridge.

In 1901 the Zululand Railway Company, contracted for the construction of the Natal North Coast line from Verulam to the Tugela River, acquired one 2-6-2 side-tank locomotive as construction engine from Baldwin Locomotive Works.

Elvestad

Hobøl is one of 10 municipalities which, due to their geographical placement miles away from the fjord / coast line, can be put into the area of Indre Østfold (Inner Østfold, the part of Østfold which do not have fjord or coast line), while those areas of Østfold who have fjord / coast line (Moss - Fredrikstad - Sarpsborg - Halden etc.) are called Ytre Østfold (Outer Østfold) and Nedre Glommaregionen (Lower Glomma Region).

Hauk-class patrol boat

Designed as a development of the Storm- and Snøgg-class, by Lieutenant-commander (later Captain) Harald Henriksen, the 14 Hauk class vessels made up the Coastal Combat Flotilla, responsible for protecting the rugged coastline of Norway.

NGR Class I 2-6-0

In December 1895 an agreement was reached with the Natal sugar magnate Liege Hulett, representing the Zululand Railway Company, for the construction of the North Coast line from Verulam to the Tugela River.

Seminole Gulf Railway

The Atlantic Coast Line came later in 1924, which up until 1949 continued southeast to Southfort, where it coincidentally connected to SGLR's current Arcadia to North Naples Line.
