College of DuPage

In January 2000 the Library received the Excellence in Academic Libraries Award, sponsored by the Association of College and Research Libraries and Blackwells’ Book Services.

This was to protest changes to the college rules modeled on conservative activist David Horowitz's controversial "Academic Bill of Rights", which takes control over the curriculum away from teachers and gives it to the school board.


Chicago Festival Ballet

Annual traditions include the company’s production of Tchaikovsky’s "The Nutcracker" in multiple theaters in Chicago, including the Rialto Square Theatre, Harris Theater in Millennium Park, and the McAninch Arts Center at College of DuPage.

Paul Spicer

Spicer attended the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois for two years, where he played for legendary coach Bob McDougal.
