Acharya Brojendra Nath Seal College or ABN Seal, earlier Victoria College, is a co-educational college in Cooch Behar, West Bengal, India.
But there are many theories or stories behind the naming of Cooch Behar.

Jitendra Narayan Bhup Bahadur, KCSI (20 December 1886 – 20 December 1922) was Maharaja of Cooch-Behar, in India from September 1913 until his death in December 1922.
Born at Dinhata on January 20, 1928, he passed his matriculation from Dinhata High School where former president of Bangladesh, Hossain Mohammad Ershad was his classmate, and passed Intermediate Arts from Victoria College (now Acharya Brojendra Nath Seal College) in Cooch Behar, which was then affiliated with the University of Calcutta.
In 2012-13, Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University has been established with all the colleges of Cooch Behar district and Alipurduar subdivision of Jalpaiguri district affiliated with it.
In 1953, Mewes gained notoriety as a result of her relationship with Jagaddipendra Narayan, the Maharajah of Cooch Behar and in 1955, by the manner of her untimely death.
