This is the terminus of shuttle services from the UK, as well as the terminus of the LGV Nord, whereby Eurostar services can travel into the Channel Tunnel.
There are several branches in major cities and close to transport hubs like the Eurotunnel terminal in Coquelles.
The carriages used for the shuttle have a larger loading gauge than either British or French railways; consequently they cannot travel outside the tunnel and the two terminals at Coquelles and Folkestone.
Now known as Wine & Beer World there are three stores in Calais, Coquelles and Cherbourg.
