David Jackman

Jackman's earliest known musical activity was as a member of Cornelius Cardew's Scratch Orchestra between 1969 and 1972.

Hugh McDowell

In 1995 he joined the contemporary music group the Cornelius Cardew ensemble.

Plus-minus ensemble

Plus Minus's programming features a mixture of avant-garde and experimental traditions, focussing particularly on open-instrumentation pieces such as Stockhausen's Plus Minus, Andriessen's Worker's Union and Cardew's Treatise.


Deutsche Grammophon
