The Hip performed the song "It Can't be Nashville Every Night" on a season two episode of Canadian situation comedy TV program Corner Gas.

Jesse Valenzuela

In 2002, he released a solo album, "Tunes Young People Will Enjoy." In 2004, Valenzuela collaborated with Canadian singer-songwriter Craig Northey on the album Northey Valenzuela, and they co-wrote and performed "Not A Lot Goin' On", the theme song to the Canadian sitcom Corner Gas.

Matt Dominguez

Dominguez along with his then teammate Gene Makowsky made a cameo appearance in the Corner Gas episode "Reader Pride".

Red Hat Society

In Corner Gas, a Canadian sitcom, one of the main characters, Lacey Burrows, joins the "Purple Hat Society", a reference to the Red Hat Society.
