Cheshire Constabulary is responsible for policing the annual Creamfields dance and music festival that takes place over the August bank holiday weekend every year at Daresbury in Halton, close to Runcorn and Warrington.
These include Creamfields - held in 2000, 2001 and 2002; the Ozzfest - a few times; Witnness - held in 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003; and the current favourite Oxegen held there each year since 2004.
It is commonly used for large music festivals – as of 2010, it plays host to Soundwave, Creamfields, Stereosonic, Raggamuffin Music Festival and was the former home of the Big Day Out (which is now held at the adjacent Flemington Racecourse).
Recently, Showsec has been a major supplier of staff to large scale events such as Download Festival, Creamfields, and Hyde Park.
"We Run the Nite" held the number 1 position in the ARIA club chart for 11 weeks, inspiring the duo to tour again, playing festivals including Creamfields.
During this time they released another single, "Automatic," appearing on Channel 4's Big Brother's Big Mouth in 2009 and performing at T in the Park, Creamfields, Wakestock, Belladrum and Sónar amongst other festivals, as well as main support on tours with Esser and Simian Mobile Disco.
Anton Powers has also performed at the dance festival Creamfields, where he DJ'ed in the Subliminal Tent alongside Erick Morillo, David Guetta, Axwell, Steve Angello & many more.
The band had a worldwide tour for Surrender beginning in 1999, continuing until summer 2000 when they played festivals including legendary performances at Glastonbury Festival and Creamfields.
It was created by the CEO of Cream and Creamfields, James Barton, and Lord Edward Stanley the Lord of the Manor for Knowsley Hall.
In 1996, Tony went on to play at all the major dance clubs/events in the UK, including, Legacy @ The Manor in Ringwood, Slinky @ the Opera House in Bournemouth, Cream, Gatecrasher, Godskitchen, and Creamfields, this together with his worldwide bookings, led to a punishing DJ schedule.
