Mortimer brothers

A younger brother, Glen Mortimer played 26 first grade games for Cronulla between 1983-87 after starting out in the Bulldogs lower grades.

Noa Nadruku

He had a slow start to the 1993 NSWRL season, but against Cronulla in the fifth round Nadruku became a sensation with his compact build providing tremendous speed and power, and scored two tries, setting up several others.


Bob Sheens

Sheens worked as a conditioner at Eastern Suburbs and Cronulla Sutherland and later was a lower grade coach at the Western Reds.

History of the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks

On 22 September 2006, the Sharks Board ended weeks of speculation over the future of coach Stuart Raper by sacking him as first grade coach and handing him a $300,000 payout, making him the second consecutive coach to receive such a payout.

In 1993 Lou Ferrigno was brought in to speak to Sharks players about the benefits of weight-training.
