The following day he appeared in court for indictment and was remanded in custody to await trial after it was alleged that his full DNA profile was found on a latex glove inside the vehicle used by the gunmen.
However, in Investigation Discovery's television series "Dark Minds" (episode name "Double Initial Murder" which first aired 22 February 2012 and was hosted by M. William Phelps) it was reported that Bianchi's DNA profile was tested in 1985 and it did not match the biological evidence left at the crime scene of Wanda Walkowicz.
Entering the DNA profile into law enforcement's CODIS database got a hit showing that it belonged to Dale Wayne Eaton, 57, of Moneta, Wyoming, who, at the time, was incarcerated in Englewood federal prison at Littleton, Colorado, on an unrelated weapons charge.
