Damansara is a township in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which straddles the state border into Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
The main routes into Kelana Jaya are via the Damansara-Puchong Expressway and the Federal Highway, which forms the southern border of the neighbourhood.
On 1 April 2008, accompanied by Friends of Kota Damansara (FOKD) and Malaysian Nature Society (MNS), PSM's Nasir Hashim led the delegation in talks with Selangor's newly appointed State Exco for Environmental Affairs, Elizabeth Wong to gazette the Kota Damansara forest.
The initial response by the club was to search for a new site in the surrounding area (including Jalan Duta, an area near the Houses of Parliament, an area near a polo club in Ampang, and Damansara) with little success.
The meetings were held in a privately owned condominium in Desa Damansara (Damansara Heights), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Sepang International Circuit (venue for the Formula One Malaysian Grand Prix) is only twenty-five minutes away, Kuala Lumpur city centre, Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya, Damansara and Puchong, is 15 minutes away whereas the Shah Alam is 20 minutes away by modern transport, and the royal town of Klang is 45 minutes away.
In 1982 he cinched a landslide victory for the parliamentary seat in the opposition stronghold of Damansara.
He practised corporate and conveyancing law at Shearn Delamore in Kuala Lumpur before working for Merit Management Sdn Bhd, the property developer responsible for Tiara Damansara in Petaling Jaya.
