At 10 years old he start playing football at youth of Futebol Clube de Ferreiras and keeped at his birthplace club during youth and 3 years as senior football player.

In the final of 2013, Daniel was invited by José Dominguez to be part of his new technical team, as assistant manager, at Real Cartagena from Colombian League.

Guest Coach for Summer Soccer Camp held at Academy of Oakville Soccer Club (Toronto - Canada) by Inside Soccer Company in 2010.

In 2011/2012 season started work at Sporting Clube de Portugal Professional Team as Technical Observation and Analysis, were he could develop his skills working with several remarkable coaches such as: Domingos Paciência, Ricardo Sá Pinto, Jorge Castelo, Oceano Cruz, Franky Vercauteren, Rui Sampaio, Jesualdo Ferreira e José Dominguez.

As a technical observation in during this 2 seasons also developed specific material for goalkeeper coach of Sporting, Nélson Pereira.
