Larger propeller aircraft such as the Twin Otter and Dash 7 (carrying up to 50 people) have been regular users of the airport over the years, but have since been phased out of use and smaller Cessnas and helicopters are often seen sitting on the tarmac nowadays.
The Dash 7 featured the short takeoff and landing (STOL) performance required at Steamboat Springs due to its relatively short runway length and high elevation.
Over the next 20 years Time Air's fleet progressed from the 20-passenger de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter, to the 30-passenger Short 330 and 36-passenger Short 360 (both known as the "Flying Boxcar" for their boxy shape) and then to the de Havilland Canada DHC-7 Dash 7 before standardising with the Bombardier DHC-8 Dash 8.
Currently Berjaya Air is the only airline that is operating flights to Pangkor Airport (PKG), from Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (SZB) with its 48-seats Dash 7 turboprop airliner.
