His 53 victories are the most in Weber State history, just ahead of his father, Sark Arslanian, who compiled a 50–26–2 record from 1965–1972.
At Utah State University Robinson started out his college career as a running back for the Aggies; he was recruited out of Apple Valley, California in 1999 under then head Coach Dave Arslanian.
Arslanian is the father of Dave Arslanian who later coached at Weber State from 1989 to 1997.
