Dave Cottle

Cottle began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Salisbury and then spent three years as the head coach at the Severn School, where he compiled a 26–9 record.

In 1990, Loyola advanced through the NCAA tournament to the final, before losing to Syracuse.

All three Loyola wins came under the guidance of head coach Dave Cottle.
