The first release of the record label and the first appearance of D-Mark in the music industry as well, Travelling EP, became unexpectedly a success: 10 weeks in a row at the top positions of the Technics/IDP/DMC Dutch Dance Charts and full reviews on the Spanish magazines Deejay and DJ1, that finally ended with the DJ Oner award #1 Spanish trance release and the appearance of Project Norway in the album of Dave Pearce Delirium on the label Ministry of Sound.

Hip Hop Connection

Prior to the first issue, the magazine's parent company had also run a premium rate 0898 telephone information line using the same name, presented by voice of now Radio 1 DJ Dave Pearce that invited MCs to call up and record their own rhyme after listening to the best rhyme of the previous week.

Simon Beale

Simon's radio career included being the voice of Roger Wilde on the Kiss 100 Dangerous Breakfast Show with Dave Pearce and Sarah HB, launching The Morning Zoo on Invicta FM with Neil Francis, (which he co-presented between from 1995 and 1997) and covering weekend shows on Virgin Radio in 2002.
