Al-Barazi is currently a full-time member of the Trojans Swim Club at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, under his personal coach Dave Salo.
While head coach of the Irvine Novaquatics, Salo led his team to a number of age group championships (BC and Junior Olympic) as well as several Junior National Team Championships and the United States Swimming National Championships (Men, Women, Combined, Combined Under 18).
A native of San Diego, California, she was trained by coach Dave Salo of the Irvine Novaquatics from the age of 12.
He has left Ann Arbor and returned to USC to finish school and train under coach Dave Salo.
