Borderel-Cail

The Borderel-Cail was a French automobile manufactured in Denain in the first decade of the twentieth century by Société Cail, who were a builder of railway locomotives since the 1840s.


Arnold van Keppel, 1st Earl of Albemarle

He commanded at the siege of Aire in 1710, led Marlborough's second line in 1711, and was general of the Dutch forces in 1712, being defeated at Denain after the withdrawal of Ormonde and the English forces and taken prisoner.

Au Départ

In 1847, a shop trading under Au Départ selling luggage and travel goods shop opened at 7 boulevard Denain in Paris, opposite the Gare du Nord, a railway station inaugurated the year before on 14 June 1846.

Gare de Caudry

Caudry was formerly connected by secondary lines with Saint-Quentin via Le Catelet, Cambrai, Denain via Quiévy and Saint-Aubert and Catillon via Le Quesnoy.
