Bart Howard (June 1, 1915 – February 21, 2004), born Howard Joseph Gustafson, was the composer and writer of the famous jazz standard "Fly Me To The Moon", which has been performed by singers (among others) Bobby Womack, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald, Nancy Wilson, Della Reese, Diana Krall, June Christy and Astrud Gilberto.
Some of his work has been featured on international compilation albums, with artists like Vangelis, Hans Zimmer, Sarah Brightman, Luciano Pavarotti and Diana Krall, among others.
During the 1990s, Oehler's credits included work on albums for Dolly Parton, Kirk Whalum, Joe Sample, Diane Schuur and Mark Whitfield (featuring Diana Krall).
Upon graduating from Juilliard, Dominick signed with The Jazz Tree, a well-known management company in New York City whose roster of past clients over the years has included Diana Krall, Joshua Redman, Christian McBride, Freddie Hubbard and J.J. Johnson, among distinguished others.

His CDs placed number 1 on the jazz charts in Japan and garnered him the "International New Star Award," an honor previously awarded to Diana Krall.

Notable artists she has played with as a sideperson include Nancy King, John Stowell, Albert 'Tootie' Heath, Tony Dumas, Bob Sheppard, Ingrid Jensen, Bobby Watson, Dan Faehnle (guitarist with Diana Krall), Earl Palmer and Gilbert Castellanos (member of the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra).
"Jockey Full of Bourbon" has been covered by performers including Joe Bonamassa (on his 2009 album The Ballad of John Henry), Moxy Früvous (on their album Live Noise), Moshav Band (on their album Misplaced), Los Lobos, Youn Sun Nah, Diana Krall, The Blue Hawiians and Tim Timebomb.
During that period he also played with Alex Graham (1995), Michael Weiss (1996, 1998), the Three Baritone Saxophone Band (1997), and Diana Krall (1999).
Several worldwide great artists have visited Kongsberg during this festival; international stars including Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, John Scofield, Nigel Kennedy, Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Charles Mingus, Wayne Shorter, Dianne Reeves, McCoy Tyner, Radka Toneff, Bobby McFerrin, John Butcher, Anthony Braxton, Diana Krall and Pat Metheny have played in Kongsberg several times.
He has also worked with various other artists including Justin Timberlake, Regina Spektor and Diana Krall.
Over the years the Litchfield Jazz Festival has presented legends like Dave Brubeck, Tito Puente, Ray Charles, Dr. John, the Heath Brothers, and Slide Hampton as well as introduced new talent and fostered the careers of Diana Krall, Brad Mehldau, Jane Monheit, Matt Wilson, Don Braden, Robert Glasper and many others.
Live at the Montreal Jazz Festival is the second DVD by Canadian jazz pianist and vocalist Diana Krall, released in 2004 (see 2004 in music).

His students include many notable jazz musicians, including Diana Krall, Makoto Ozone, Joe Zawinul, Keith Jarrett, Jane Ira Bloom, Jan Hammer, Allan Broadbent, Arif Mardin, Gary Burton, John Hicks, Danilo Perez and Hiromi .
In 1976, he moved to New York to become a noted studio musician, arranger and producer for a wide range of well-known artists, including Rihanna, Aaron Neville, Michael Franks, Carly Simon, Natalie Cole, Diana Krall, Steely Dan, Paul Simon, James Taylor, Chaka Khan, Eric Clapton, Madonna, Diana Ross, Donald Fagen, Brian Wilson, Aztec Camera and countless others.
When it was reported in May 2010 that jazz performer Diana Krall was scheduled to perform in Israel in August of that year, StandWithUs offered her husband, Elvis Costello, who had recently cancelled performances in Tel Aviv as "a matter of instinct and conscience," a "five star VIP tour of Israel" if he accompanied Krall.
It has been performed by numerous artists including Ella Fitzgerald (with Louis Armstrong), Slim and Slam (Slim Gaillard and Slam Stewart), Les Brown, King Crimson, John Pizzarelli, Diana Krall, who both included the song in her 1993 debut album Stepping Out as well as in her 1996 Nat King Cole tribute album, All For You, and Mandy Mann (2005).
