Anton Eger (born 1980 in Norway) is a Norwegian/Swedish Jazz drummer, known from a series of recordings and collaborations with musicians like Django Bates, Marius Neset, Daniel Heløy Davidsen and Ivo Neame.
He has led his own ensembles since the late 1980s; in these combos he has played with Django Bates, Iain Ballamy, Guy Barker, Jamie Talbot, Mark Nightingale, Dave O'Higgins, Nigel Hitchcock, Gerard Presencer, Mornington Lockett, Jean Toussaint, Simon Allen, Zoe Rahman and Alan Barnes.
She has also worked as an actress and singer/multi-instrumentalist at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in Matthew Dunster’s acclaimed production of Troilus and Cressida and Lucy Bailey and Django Bates’s production of Timon of Athens.
