Distorted Lullabies

Released on the Dreamworks label on May 15, 2001, it is largely composed of melodic rock songs.

Tyson Ritter

After Jesse Tabish quit the band, and with the additions of Mike Kennerty and Chris Gaylor, The All-American Rejects were picked up by Doghouse Records, and later DreamWorks Records, finally with the current major label of Interscope Records.


Breakfast with Girls

Working with a larger budget now that the band was on DreamWorks Records, the album featured an impressive roster of production credits, including: Richard Dodd, a Grammy-Award winning engineer; Hugh Padgham, a legendary British producer; and Ken Andrews, formerly of the band Failure.

James Stroud

After Giant Records closed in 2000, Stroud moved to DreamWorks Records Nashville, where he worked as a producer for several artists such as Darryl Worley.

Peter Bradley Adams

Within a year of forming eastmountainsouth in 2001 (with Kat Maslich Bode), they were signed by Robbie Robertson to DreamWorks Records (founded in 1996 by David Geffen, Steven Spielberg and Jeffrey Katzenberg).

Spongebath Records

From 1997-1999, Spongebath attracted national press and media attention for garnering co-label deals with DreamWorks Records (for Self's 1999 album Breakfast with Girls) and with Elektra Records (for the Katies self-titled 1999 album.) Bands/artists on Spongebath at one time or another included: Self, Fluid Ounces, the Katies, The Features, Count Bass D, Fleshpaint, The C60's, The New System, The Roaries, Gumption, Call Florence Pow, Ruby Amanfu, and Knodel.
