Lieutenant Colonel Duncan Frederick Campbell, DSO (28 April 1876 Simcoe, Ontario – 4 September 1916) was Unionist MP for North Ayrshire who died in World War I.

The contest was dominated by the government’s legislation on National Insurance and the uncertainties this legislation would produce for individual electors, particularly those of small manufacturers and shopkeepers.
