European route E65, a north-south route connecting Malmö in Sweden and Chaniá in Greece
It is situated on main road connecting Podgorica with northern Montenegro and Serbia ((E65/E80) routes), and is a local station on Belgrade - Bar railway.
The GR-8A and the E55 (Athens - Corinth - Patras) as well as the GR-5/E55 (Antirrio - Agrinio - Ioannina) and the GR-48/E65 (Patras - Antirrio - Nafpaktos - Livadia) as well as Panepistimiou Street.
The Zone is situated near main roads including the international E30 (A2), E65 (A3) and E28 motorways and near to the Paris – Berlin – Warsaw – Moscow international railway line.
It had covered events held at the ancient theatre (see the Megalopolis Ancient Theater), pavement and creation of roads in the 1950s and the 1960s, the earthquake that struck in 1965, the opening of its transmission plant (see the Megalopolis Power Plant) in 1970, the Megalopolis By-Pass and the GR-7/E65 superhighway extension as well as its tunnel and the Megalopolis Bypass.
Adriatic Highway (E65/E80) passes right by the passenger terminal, making the airport easily accessible from the entire northern part of Montenegrin coast.
The bridge is a part of a major north–south transportation corridor in Croatia and Hungary and a part of European routes E65 and E71 as well as the Pan-European corridor Vb.
