EA Sports Big was a brand name used by Electronic Arts from 2000 to 2008 distribute sports games that featured non-realistic, often extreme, arcade gameplay similar to Midway's sports games.
It was developed by EA Canada and published by Electronic Arts under their newly launched EA Sports Big brand, and was the first title released under that label, which specializes in extreme sports titles with an unrealistic or arcade feel and was widely regarded by critics as one of the standouts of the PlayStation 2's launch library.
