Two EMD GP38 locomotives are used for on site switching, while cars are delivered and picked up by the New York and Atlantic Railroad via the Long Island Rail Road Main Line.
However, in December 2003, the KB&S received a group of six EMD GP38-2M locomotives rebuilt from ex-New York Central Railroad GP40s.
