Capesthorne Hall

The current hall was built between 1719 and 1732 in the Tudor revival style, by the Smiths of Warwick and was altered in 1837 by Edward Blore.

Castle Hill, Filleigh

In 1841 the architect Edward Blore (1787–1879) added a porte-cochere on the north side of the main range, now demolished and replaced in 1974 by an entrance porch to the design of Raymond Erith.

Government House, Sydney

In 1835 the British government agreed that a new Government House in Sydney had become a necessity, and the royal architect, Edward Blore, was instructed to draw up plans.

James Piers St Aubyn

He was elected to the Royal Institute of British Architects in 1837, on the nomination of George Basevi, Edward Blore and William Railton, and became a Fellow of the Institute in 1856, proposed by Benjamin Ferrey, Giles Gilbert Scott, and F.C. Penrose.
