Elizabeth Futral

She returned to the Met in December 2006 to star opposite Plácido Domingo and Paul Groves in the world premiere of Tan Dun’s The First Emperor (which was televised and later published on DVD), later appearing in I puritani.

In 2002, Miss Futral recorded "Great Operatic Arias," for Chandos.

Later that year, she sang the role of Catherine in Meyerbeer's L'étoile du nord at the Wexford Festival.

Her opera, The Scarlet Letter, to a libretto by David Mason (based on the Nathanial Hawthorne classic), will receive its professional premiere at Opera Colorado in May 2016 starring Elizabeth Futral.

Recordings include Bach's complete motets, the Magnificats of both J.S. Bach and C.P.E Bach, and the first American recording of the F Major and G minor Masses, and three solo soprano cantatas featuring opera superstar Elizabeth Futral.
