The Knoevenagel condensation reaction is an organic reaction named after Emil Knoevenagel.
As successor of Hans Hübner, Victor Meyer came to Göttingen and some renown chemists worked as assistants in his group, like Rudolf Leuckart, Emil Knoevenagel, Traugott Sandmeyer and Karl von Auwers.
