In 1909 four Old Etonian philanthropists founded Eton Manor Boys' Club to provide sporting facilities in the Hackney area, purchasing the former Manor Farm in 1913.
Gil Medcalf had played for Eton Manor both before and after the Second World War, and the inclusion of manor in our club name is a direct echoing of Gil's own career.
