As head coach of the junior national team of Yugoslavia (players born in 1970), Vujošević won the 1988 European Under-18 Championship in Titov Vrbas and Srbobran.
European Under-18 All-Star Game 2009 was held on September 18, 2009 in Spodek Arena.
Since 2004, the team also takes part in the annual European Under-18 Rugby Union Championship, winning the title in this competition in 2011.
In a one-and-half-month period in the summer of 2004, Moreira represented Portugal at the European Under-21 Championship in Germany and acted as backup at Euro 2004, before a trip to Athens for the Summer Olympics, where he started.
While a youngster with Benfica, he represented his country at under-16 level, and was first-choice goalkeeper at the European under-17 championship finals, at which Portugal's under-17s beat England 3–2 on penalties to win the third-place play-off; Janota saved the decisive penalty.
He also worked as a youth coach for the Turkey national youth football team, collecting a European under-18 championship medal in 1992.
