unusual facts about European Union energy label

Home Information Pack

Similar to EU appliance efficiency ratings, the energy performance ratings on the Energy Performance Certificate provide prospective purchasers with an assessment of the property's energy consumption, together with a list of practical measures that can be taken to cut their fuel bills and carbon emissions.

Energy input labeling

Energy input labeling provides the advantage of knowing how much energy was used to produce a product, but it does not indicate how much energy a product uses to operate, such as the European Union energy label, and is not in itself a standard for energy efficiency such as Energy Saving Trust Recommended or Energy Star.
