FALA

The first military regions were established along with their respective independent zones and operational fronts like Quembo, Lewa and the northern zone.

In March of the same year, at Benda in the Huambo Province, the movement’s Fourth Congress was held and outlined further objectives for FALA, such as the formation of the first trained, equipped and motivated battalions, among which the battalions of Sam Nujomo and Kazambuela stood out.


Fala Mangueira!

Fala Mangueira! is a 1968 tribute album to the Mangueira Samba School founded by Cartola.

José Leite de Vasconcelos

In 1910 Miuçalhas gallegas was published; drawing attention to various aspects of Galician studies, it contained a brief discourse on the linguistic boundary between Fala and Galician, corresponding to Ribadavia, Ferreiros and San Miguel de Lobios in Ourense, much of Hermisende and Zamora—although the last of these is, strictly speaking, a separated or transmontane Fala.

Office du Niger

The irrigation scheme utilizes two ancient branches of the Niger River, the Fala de Molodo that runs northwards from the Niger for 135 km to the Alatona region and the Fala de Boky-Wéré that runs in an east-northeast direction towards the town of Macina.

The canal begins at Kolongo Tomo and runs in a northeasterly direction parallel to the Fala de Boky-Wéré.
