FAW-Volkswagen

With the celebration, a sculpture named 'Ode to Audi' from Gerry Judah was set at the entry of the company.

The headquarters of FAW-VW, which consists of two car plants is located in the south-western fringes of Changchun, Jilin Province, the third car plant has been built in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, the fourth car plant will be built in Foshan, Guangdong Province.


1st Antisubmarine Squadron

In June 1943, the group was assigned to the Northwest African Coastal Air Force under the command of Air Vice-Marshal Hugh Lloyd, RAF, but the group operated under the control of the USN FAW-15 at Port Lyautey, French Morocco, (now Kenitra, Morocco).

2d Antisubmarine Squadron

Deployed again to Port Lyautey in French Morocco in March 1943 to shore up scanty Allied antisubmarine defenses in the Atlantic approaches to the Straits of Gibraltar as part of 2037th Antisubmarine Wing (Provisional) under the operational control of the United States Navy (USN) Fleet Air Wing 15 (FAW-15), which answered to the commander of the Moroccan Sea Frontier.

480th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing

At the time, the group was under the command of Colonel Jack Roberts and assigned to the Northwest African Coastal Air Force under the command of Air Vice-Marshal Hugh Lloyd, but they operated under the control of USN FAW-15 at Port Lyautey, French Morocco, now Kenitra, Morocco.

Audi 100

During the negotiation between FAW and Volkswagen in late-1980s, Volkswagen acceded to FAW's suggestion of combining the C3 platform with previously introduced Chrysler engines in the new generation Hongqi (Red Flag).

The C3-platform Audi 100 was also produced in Changchun, China, by FAW (First Automobile Works, a Chinese automotive manufacturer), for many years during the 1990s.

Daihatsu Terios

In China it is known by two ways: one of them as under the badge as Zotye 2008 and 5008 propelled with a 1.5-litre engine provided by Mitsubishi (first series body); as an unauthorized copy of the car, which caused some controversy, and the FAW badged it as the Huali Terios.

FAW Premier Cup

Cardiff City in particular, following the arrival of ambitious owner Sam Hammam enjoyed relative success in the Football League but Cardiff City won the FAW Premier Cup just once, beating arch-rivals Swansea City in the 2002 final.

in 2006, in the domestic market, 70% of plastic moulds were made in Huangyan, 50% TV manufacturers choose to purchase TV mould from Huangyan, 70% electric bike plastic parts were made in Huangyan, most of auto manufacturers including FAW, Geely, Dongfeng, Shanghai Volkswagen ordered mould in Huangyan, most home appliance manufactures e.g. Haier, Konka, Changhong, Hisense, Royalstar, Xoceco etc. use the mould from Huangyan.

Naval Air Station South Weymouth

The last leg of the flight was a ~20 hour flight to their destination with Fleet Air Wing (FAW) 15 at Port Lyautey, French Morocco (now Kenitra, Morocco).

In November 1993, the then-Board Chairman of FAW and Volkswagen AG, signed a letter of intent on the integration of Audi production and a V6 engine plant into the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture, which had been established at the end of 1991.

Established in February 1991, FAW-Volkswagen Automotive Company (FAW-VW) is a large-scale carmaker jointly funded by China FAW Group subsidiary First Automobile Works, Volkswagen AG, Audi AG and Volkswagen (China) Investment Co., Ltd.
