University Park is also home to Reagan House (formally known as University House), the home of FIU's president, the Wertheim Performing Arts Center, the Frost Art Museum, the International Hurricane Research Center, and the university's athletic facilities such as FIU Stadium, FIU Baseball Stadium, and the U.S. Century Bank Arena.
Additionally, the Goodyear Blimp made its first appearance at FIU Stadium, flying over the stadium throughout the Duke homecoming game.
Additionally in 2011, FIU’s Athletic Department and FIU alumnus Alfonso announced a five-year deal for the exclusive naming rights for the Panther Football team’s home field now called “Alfonso Field at FIU Stadium.
