On 7 August 2012, Durán was due to return to top-league football by signing with FK Jagodina in Serbia.
In his country, he played for FK Jagodina and Red Star Belgrade: with the latter he won two leagues and one cup, scoring a career-best eight goals in 22 games in his first season en route to the national championship, but being rarely used in his last two years combined (only 14 league appearances).

Born in Svilajnac, SR Serbia, after playing with FK Partizan youth team, he has started his senior career playing with Partizan´s satellite club FK Teleoptik, before moving in summer 2008 to Serbian SuperLiga side FK Jagodina.
