In early 1937 her family moved to Jagodina, where her father opened an independent watch-making shop and she stayed there until her high school graduation.
His Army Group Headquarters was moved from Skopje to Jagodina, but the situation continued to deteriorate, and some Bulgarian soldiers even mutinied and headed towards Sofia.

With decision of the Directorate of Civil Aviation, from 8 March 2012, Jagodina was officially given sport airport, the second of its kind in the Pomoravlje District next to Paraćin-Davidovac Airport.
It included initially the clubs from the municipalities of Kragujevac, Kraljevo, Jagodina, which were part of the Belgrade Football Subassociation, and a year later Čačak and Užice, which belonged to Sarajevo Football Subassociation were joined.
The elections were marred by violence in Kragujevac, Jagodina and Užice, with pressure to elect candidates favourable to the incumbent government and interference from the Karađorđević dynasty blamed.
