Since 1967, Atma Jaya gradually moved to the campus at Jalan Jendral Sudirman, now known as the Semanggi Campus, and then to the Pluit Campus in North Jakarta which houses the Faculty of Medicine, Atma Jaya Hospital and the Atma Jaya Mortuary.
He graduated at the Lisbon Medic-Cirurgical School, in 1891, where he also taught, later becoming a Professor of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon.
In 1878, the building opened its doors to host Université de Montréal's first Faculty of Medicine.
