Agios Andronikos

Agios Andronikos is the name of two towns in the Famagusta District of Cyprus.

Famagusta District

Cape Greco, also known as Capo Greco (Italian; Greek: Κάβο Γκρέκο "Greek cape"), is a headland in the southeastern part of the district.

Most of the district has been under Turkish control since the 1974 invasion.

According to local legend it is also the home of the 'Ayia Napa sea monster'.

Georgios Grivas

Georgios Grivas (aka Digenis) was born on July 5, 1898 in Trikomo, Famagusta District, the fourth child of Theodoros Grivas and Kalomira Hadjimichael.
