Fat Mike has made several appearances as Cokie the Clown, but one of his most memorable was at Emo's, a popular nightclub in Austin on March 20, 2010 at the South by Southwest festival.
In 2005 they were featured in the magazine Punk Rock Confidential, which is owned by Fat Mike of NOFX.

In the first episode of the NOFX world tour show on the Fuse TV Network, Mike "Fat Mike" Burkett said that although he, El Hefe, and Erik Sandin have all got better, Melvin still continues to play at the same level he did when the band first started.
"Louise and Liza" is a 7" single by NOFX. The songs are sequels of sorts to "Liza and Louise" from White Trash, Two Heebs and a Bean with the lyrics "Louise" being about the lesbian characters engaging in sado-masochistic activity. The songs are sexually explicit, and lead singer Fat Mike has remarked that the lyrics make him "get embarrassed whenever I see them.
Chris Dodge rejoined on second guitar, and they released their second album Don't Miss the Train in 1992 before signing up with Fat Mike's label Fat Wreck Chords in 1993.
