Its notable that Felix failed to raise the required money to pursue his dream of being a journalist and the only option that remained was to hold an Harambee to be able to join either University of Nairobi or Mount Kenya University.

75,000 through the Harambee held in April 2011, Felix gave up the idea of joining the University of Nairobi but instead enrolled for Diploma in the same field in Mount Kenya University Thika Campus.

He left Machakos School in November 2008 after sitting for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education KCSE.

All this work was done while he worked at Charcoal market in Kitengela Kajiado County where he worked until 2011.
