Erika Scheimer

Erika Scheimer (born "Erica" Schiemer, circa 1960) is an occasional voice-actress in the cartoons of the defunct Filmation animation-studio.

Evil Horde

The Horde was introduced to the Masters of the Universe toyline in 1985, but since Filmation was moving on to She-Ra's series, it was decided to make the Horde the lead villains in the new series.

Fred Silverman

During Silverman's time at ABC, he overhauled the network's Saturday-morning cartoon output, dumping Filmation (which had produced the failed Uncle Croc's Block) and replacing it with content from Hanna-Barbera, including a continuation of Scooby-Doo.

King Randor

In early material, the character is called King Miro, this was later given in the Filmation cartoon series as King Randor's long-lost father's name.

Man-At-Arms

In Filmation's animated series, Man-At-Arms - given the "real name" of Duncan - despite being a soldier and a master of weapons is primarily peaceful and prefers alternatives to fighting.

As with all of their wilder comedies, such as those mentioned above and later shows like Uncle Croc's Block and The Secret Lives of Waldo Kitty, Filmation stuffed the episodes with slapstick jokes, and the rubbery, gangly animated version of Lewis was well realised.

Lou Scheimer was an art director for Larry Harmon Pictures during its brief foray into animated television; after Harmon exited the animation business, Scheimer formed Filmation, which went on to be a leading producer of television animation.

The New Adventures of Gilligan

It was based on the 1964–1967 CBS television series Gilligan's Island and featured almost all the actors from the show, except for Tina Louise, who was determined to distance herself from the role of Ginger Grant (the animated Ginger became a platinum blonde in case Louise objected to Filmation using her image), and Dawn Wells, who was on the road in a play and was unavailable (Jane Webb voiced both Ginger and Mary Ann; she was credited as Jane Edwards for the latter).
