1910 in Ireland

August - The Kalem Company of New York City begins shooting the first of several films partly on location in Ireland, A Lad from Old Ireland, with a filming location around Beaufort, County Kerry.

Albert Memorial Clock, Belfast

In 1947, the film Odd Man Out was filmed partly in Belfast, with the Albert Clock as a central location, although neither the town nor the clock is explicitly identified.

Bada Bing

All interior and exterior shots of the Bada Bing were filmed on location at Satin Dolls, an actual go-go bar on Route 17 in Lodi, New Jersey.

Caribbean Club

Eight years after his death, the Caribbean Club became famous as an "on location" filming site for the 1947 film Key Largo starring Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall.

Guillaume Depardieu

Guillaume Depardieu died on 13 October 2008, at the Garches hospital, aged 37, after contracting severe viral pneumonia at a filming location, where he had been working on a new film, L'Enfance d'Icare.

King Baggot
