The game begins on Tatooine, Luke Skywalker's home planet, moves to the Death Star, travels to Hoth, and with an in-app purchase (or earning 3-stars on Tatooine/Death Star) goes to Dagobah, and ends up in Cloud City.
The 1980 movie Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back used Hardangerjøkulen as a filming location, for scenes of the ice planet Hoth, including a memorable battle in the snow.
General Hoth was now faced with a difficult decision whether to cancel his planned assault to defeat the overextended Soviet armoured formations or to move his armour to relieve his left flank, he made the decision to act aggressively gambling that his assault would force the Soviets to move their forces to counter his threat.

Players can choose between playing as the Republic, the CIS, the Empire, or the Rebels on each of the maps, except Kamino, Geonosis, Endor and Hoth, which do not allow the player to select their battle era, as these follow their canonical settings.
The game largely takes place during the events of Episode IV: A New Hope; however, the sequences on Hoth from The Empire Strikes Back are included.
The winner was Jeff Crosno, for whom the developers placed his appearance on a Rebel soldier in a, Ice Fields of Hoth cut-scene, replacing the already existing facial graphics.

As well as the Tatooine training missions, the player participates in the Battle of Hoth (from the Imperial point of view) and the Battle of Endor (as a Rebel).
