Born in 1745 at Fishponds in the parish of Stapleton, near Bristol, Hannah More was the fourth of five daughters of Jacob More, a schoolmaster originally from Harleston, Norfolk.
It is known for having a sand-filter well that purifies water drawn from the muddy fishponds, the only source for drinking water in the area.
The site was moated and came with associated outbuildings, fishponds, and a spring (known as St Ann's Well).
Beside its fishponds, the Turkish bridge built over the Cigher River dating from the 15-17th centuries is the most attractive interest of the commune.
Fishponds and watermills belonging to bishop of Lipljan were stretching along the lake, from Sitnica to source of Nerodimka.
