Throughout the 1980s, it released material from artists such as Michael Moorcock, Robert Calvert, Hawkwind, The London Cowboys, Erazerhead, Alien Sex Fiend, Nico and Underground Zerø.

Flicknife was also the first label to release tracks by Dogs D'Amour and Ozric Tentacles.

Val Haller

They continued informally as the 'Mystere Five', collaborating with non-musician Marc "Frenchy" Gloder, and a single "No Message"/"Shake Some Action" launched Gloder's label Flicknife Records.
