The band will be with New Found Glory and Attack Attack! in September 2011 in Brazil on the XLive Music Festival (Curitiba 08/09, Rio de Janeiro 09/09 and São Paulo 10/09).

Dan O'Connor, Alan Day and Jake Massucco all attended Doherty Memorial High School in Worcester and met through mutual friends.
They continued their extensive touring, culminating with the UK and European Eastpak sponsored Antidote Tour, alongside Alexisonfire, Anti-Flag and Four Year Strong.
Artists that have performed at the theater include: Blink-182, Evanescence, Fall Out Boy, Four Year Strong, My Chemical Romance, Jimmy Eat World, Chelsea Grin, Wiz Khalifa, Rob Zombie, Kanye West, Ensiferum, Nightwish, Sonata Arctica, Straight Line Stitch, and more.

The band have supported many established acts in the past two years, including Four Year Strong, Deaf Havana, Yashin, A Loss For Words, The Dangerous Summer and MXPX.
The bands primary influences shifted with their style, initially taking influence from Reel Big Fish and Less Than Jake, but then taking more prominent influence from Four Year Strong and Fall Out Boy.
Following the release of their successful first EP, One Decision, in 2008, One Step Away began working with Dan Malsch and Alec Henniger of Soundmine Recording Studios (Four Year Strong, Framing Hanley, Forever the Sickest Kids) to produce their first full length studio album, For the Broken, released in the fall of 2010.
The Eastpak Antidote Tour co-headlining with Alexisonfire with support acts Four Year Strong and The Ghost of a Thousand, which saw the band doing 35 dates across Europe, between October and November 2009.
