Four-leaf clover

Other plants may be mistaken for, or misleadingly sold as, "four-leaf clovers"; for example, Oxalis tetraphylla is a species of wood sorrel with leaves resembling a four-leaf clover.

If one wants to find a four-leaf clover, they should look in a patch of white clover (Trifolium repens) or red clover (Trifolium pratense) to find genuine mutant clovers.

When selecting logos for their hockey team they chose a symbol that at the time was associated with power and good fortune, much like the four leafed clover.
