2 unusual facts about Fumble


Fumble

In the 1984 Orange Bowl, all-American guard Dean Steinkuhler scored a touchdown for Nebraska on a planned fumble early in the game's second quarter when his team was down 17–0 to the University of Miami.

The butt fumble: On November 2, 2012, during the primetime Thanksgiving Day game between the New York Jets and New England Patriots, Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez slipped and collided with the backside of his teammate Brandon Moore and fumbled the ball, which was recovered by the Patriots and returned for a touchdown.

Auburn quarterback Brandon Cox threw a touchdown pass to Gabe McKenzie with 2:01 remaining in the fourth quarter and Antonio Coleman returned a fumble for a score moments later to give No. 18 Auburn a 23-13 win over Kansas State.
