The boat was originally named the Mumm 30 after its original title sponsor Champagne Mumm this sponsorship ended in 2007 and the class rebranded to Farr 30 using a modified version of the Farr 40 class logo.
Begun in 1965, the Foujita chapel was entirely designed by Foujita in the romanesque style, who drew the plans and designed the ironwork, stained glass and sculptures.
