For launching the satellites, two options are planned: six satellites simultaneously from Baikonur Cosmodrome on the heavy-lift Proton-M, or two simultaneously from Plesetsk Cosmodrome on a Soyuz-2 with a Fregat upper stage.

Russian ground forces are expected to receive up to 30 Tornado-G systems in 2012, replacing the BM-21 Grad.The improved Tornado-S is being upgraded with the special GLONASS satellite navigation system used in the Smerch missile system.
Its m2m module portfolio include products in GSM/GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, EV-DO, HSPA, LTE and CDMA products as well as short-range modules in Wi-Fi, ZigBee, Short Range RF (proprietary mesh and point-to-point networks for unlicensed frequency bands), Wireless MBus and GPS/GLONASS (Machine-to-Machine) modules.
