Blancpain Sprint Series

The Blancpain Sprint Series Series is contested with GT3-spec cars.

Tom Hnatiw

Hnatiw himself, raced for 15 years and was Canadian GT3 co-champion in 1998.


Gemballa

In 2012, due to homologation rules, Gemballa built two versions of McLaren MP4-12C, including one road-going model and one GT3 race version (under Gemballa Racing division label) destined for FIA GT3 European Championship.

Lanzante Motorsport

Following years of participation in historic motorsport, Lanzante moved to modern racing by entering the BPR Global GT Series in 1995 with a Porsche 911 Turbo competing in the GT3 category with drivers Paul Burdell, Wido Rössler, and Soames Langton.

Matech Concepts

The company currently partners with Ford Racing to develop the Ford GT sports car for competition, and constructs the FIA GT1 and GT3 versions of the GT at a workshop in Mayen, Germany.

For the GT3 racecar, the engine produces less power at only 493 hp.

Proton Competition

They competed with three cars in the 2007 season in the GT2 class; No. 77 was a Porsche 997 GT3-RSR driven by Marc Lieb and Xavier Pompidou, No. 79 a 996 GT3-RSR driven by Gerold Ried, Horst Felbermayr, Sr. and Philip Collin, and No. 88 a 997 GT3-RSR driven by Christian Ried and Horst Felbermayr, Jr accompanied by a third driver in some races which included Thomas Grüber, Marc Basseng and Johannes Stuck.

Studie

They used the one of the BMW Z4 GT3 previously used by Schubert Motorsport, which previously ranked 4th in 2010 FIA GT3 European Championship season and winning the 2011 Dubai 24 hours.

United Autosports

In the 2012 season, United Autosports became among the first customers for the McLaren MP4-12C GT3 car and ran two examples in the Blancpain Endurance Series for drivers Zak Brown, Mark Blundell, Mark Patterson, Alvaro Parente, Matt Bell and David Brabham.
